A playful, heart-warming and inspiring play about love, time
and memory that takes us through Maggie and Billy’s 40-year marriage. As they prepare for the end of their love story, their younger selves appear, revealing the ups and downs, the betrayals, the need to sometimes escape, and the fear of having nothing left to say. Past and present collide in a house full of memories, as old remembers the past and young imagines the future.

 

Inspired by TS Eliot’s poem The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock, Lovesong is a play that speaks to all generations.
