The 70th Birthday Wall
About Kerry Drumm, designer of the Wall...
Kerry Drumm relocated to Williamstown in August 2015. Exploring her new home, she walked past Williamstown Little Theatre. By the end of 2015, she had found a family at WLT and had two ASM credits to her name, working on both Play 4 and Play 5 - Buffalo Gal and Over the River and Through the Woods.
In 2014 Kerry completed a PhD in animation at Loughborough University, UK and has worked on a number of feature productions including ‘Pirates of the Caribbean – On Stranger Tides’, ‘Bunny and the Bull’ and the animated short ‘The Gallant Captain’.
Now, working full-time as a screenwriter, Kerry was invited by We Are Moving Stories to film a 3-minute sample from her feature screenplay, TANKED.
Directed by Katrina Mathers, who had her stage debut in 1991 in WLT’s Bazaar & Rummage, the project is very much a WLT family affair with the cast including Katrina, Rowan Howard, Ken McLeish and Karolina Surawski. Kerry and Katrina are currently developing TANKED into a feature.
Kerry recently completed a two-part television drama, SONGBIRDS. Her other projects include developing a musical feature and treading the boards with a play entitled STRAWBERRY.
She is honoured to have been asked to illustrate the feature wall for WLT's 70th anniversary.
